Truck Equipment Mechanic

We are currently seeking to hire a successful truck equipment mechanic with a proven track record and a minimum of two years of experience to join our team. This position requires the mechanic to be primarily engaged in servicing, installing, inspecting, and replacing parts of the truck equipment line.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Install trailer hitches and wiring on vehicles.
  • Inspecting, servicing, and replacing parts.
  • Install and service Boss and Fisher snowplows and sanders.
  • Install base plates for tow systems.
  • Install and service dump bodies, flat-bed bodies, and landscape bodies.
  • Diagnose electrical issues on trailers, snowplows, sanders, vehicles and more.
  • Maintain and manage shop for parts, supplies and priority in jobs and cleanliness.
  • Provide a safe environment to work in and follow OSHA regulations.
  • Contributes to a positive work environment.
  • Perform other responsibilities when needed.

 Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a mechanic.
  • Excellent knowledge of electrical equipment, and manual tools.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well with your hands.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.

 Pay: DOE plus bonus

Welder

We are currently seeking to hire a successful welder with a proven track record and a minimum of two years of experience to join our team. This position requires the welder to be responsible for assembling pieces of metal together or repairing damage in metal components using heavy machinery that emits high heat, melting the metal into shape.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Use mig, tig, and arc welding to perform welding jobs.
  • Use hand welding and flame-cutting equipment to weld together metal components.
  • Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal products and equipment.
  • Setting up and operating fabricating machines to cut, bend and straighten sheet metal.
  • Maintain and repair all machinery.
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts.
  • Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes.
  • Provide a safe environment to work in and follow OSHA regulations.

 Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • A valid certificate in welding from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a welder.
  • Excellent knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and designs.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.

Truck Equipment Sales Representative

We are currently seeking to hire a successful Sales Representative with a proven track record and a minimum of two years of experience to join our team. This position requires the Sales Representative to be primarily engaged in promoting and selling of the truck equipment line.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answer customer questions about products, prices, availability and product features
  • Demonstrate products, explain product features and benefits and solicit orders
  • Ability to use Counter Point software and input new items, pricing and descriptions
  • Contributes to a positive work environment
  • Provide excellent customer service to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Builds lasting relationships with customers always focusing on long term growth
  • Monitors market conditions, competitor’s products and pricing

 Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
  • Working knowledge of computer applications
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers and staff
  • Knowledge of trailer and snow plow parts
  • Proficient telephonic communications required
  • Strong organization and time management skills
